Most would agree with me that the clan of Ed Sharpe holds to be one of the most unique and talented new groups of the past year or so; for me, they also stand apart as a group who's live music is almost more impressive than their recorded songs. So, naturally, I was ecstatic when they released an iTunes Live Sessions this month... I love all the songs they decided to include, but their live renditions are absolutely beautiful and different enough that my ability to listen to songs like "40 Day Dream" and "Janglin'" has been completely restored (I overdid it a bit with listening to them OVER AND OVER AND OVER when they first came out). Their recordings of Brother and Desert song are absolutely incredible as well. If you haven't heard this EP yet, definitely check it out on iTunes! The tracklist goes as follows:
1. Desert Song
2. Brother
3. Fire & Water
4. 40 Day Dream
5. Janglin'
6. Up From Below
